Refund policy
We are currently not accepting returns for items unless your purchase arrives damaged.
Damages and issues
We understand that things happen in transit. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately, within 5 business days, if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
To be eligible for a refund because of damages, please send photos of your item in the condition you received it and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the order confirmation number or proof of purchase.
If your return is accepted because of damage, we’ll send you a refund to your original payment method. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please do not send the damaged item back to us.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
We cannot accept returns on sale items, final sale items or e-gift cards.
Exchanges
If you receive the incorrect item, contact us at orders@illustratedmelanin.com with your order confirmation number so we can provide return information and send the correct item to you at no cost.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return request, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 7-10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 14 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact your bank.
