Who is the Illustrator behind all the products?

Hi. Meet me, Elisa! All artwork and illustrations seen throughout this site and beyond the interwebs are created by me. All artwork and content belongs to Illustrated Melanin, is subject to copyright, and is not to be resold, distributed, copied, or taken without expressed written consent. 

When will my order ship?

Pre-orders are taken before inventory is received and will therefore ship at a designated time once preorder window is complete. This is at the discretion of Illustrated Melanin and based on supplier transit times.

We will inform you of estimated processing & shipping times at the time of purchase. Please allow for at least 10-15 days after the pre-sale term is complete to expect shipping notifications. Preorders will be labeled as such.

For all regular orders, see schedule below:

• All orders placed BEFORE 12:00pm PST will ship same day.
• All orders placed AFTER 12:00pm PST will ship next business day.
• Any orders placed on Fridays will ship Monday. 

Once orders leave the warehouse we are not responsible for transit times. We are currently using USPS for all shipments.

When will I receive my gift card?

ALL gift card purchases are digital. You will receive an email with your custom code that you can use for yourself or gift to a friend! No gift cards will be mailed!

What is your return policy?

We are currently not accepting returns for items unless your purchase arrives damaged.

We understand that things happen in transit! Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us [at] orders@illustratedmelanin.com, within 5 business days, if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Do you take commissions?
